John T. Clark II
SHELBURN — John T. Clark II, passed away at 4:50 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008, in Southwood Health and Rehabilitation Center in Terre Haute. He was born on July 5, 1923, in Shelburn, to John T. Clark I and Edna Hughes Clark. He was a farmer in the area for several years as witnessed by all his John Deere hats and clothes.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Dorothy R. Hunt Clark; daughters, Donna R. Griswold and husband Tom, Janet S. Earley and husband Dan and Rebecca J. Kull and husband Kevin; a son, John T. Clark III and wife Rebecca; a sister, Geneva Gobin; a brother, Warren Clark; grandchildren, David Griswold, John Michael Griswold and wife Stacy, Erin Arashiro and husband Corey, Matthew Earley and fiancee Jennifer, John Clayton Earley and wife Amanda, Nick Hendricks, Kevin Kull Jr., and Ian Kull; and great-grandchildren, Madalyn Griswold and Meah Griswold.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Everett Lee Clark, Willard Clark, Nolan Clark, Hobart Clark, Charles Clark, Phillip Clark and William Clark; sisters, Nellie Fern Clark, Lestie Clark Followell, Lola Clark Wright, Leota Clark Reisner, Tressa Clark Campbell, Edna Clark Thompson, Helen Clark Drake and Carrollee Clark Bix.
Services are 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008, with Pastor Don Ransford officiating with burial in Pogue Cemetery. Viewing is 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Mattox-McHugh Funeral Home in Shelburn.
