Nina M. Watkins
SULLIVAN — Nina M. Watkins, 85, of Sullivan, passed away at 1:05 a.m. Sunday Oct. 12, 2008. She was born in Dugger, on Aug. 20, 1923, the daughter of Harrison King and Elsie George King.
Survivors include one son, Terry L. Watkins and his wife Mary Ann of Adairsville, Ga.; and two grandchildren, Lindsey Watkins and Sara Watkins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Watkins, in 1983; and three brothers, Robert King, Raymond King and Bernard King.
She was a member of First Christian Church in Sullivan and taught first grade Sunday School for 50 years.
Funeral services are 10 a.m. Tuesday in First Christian Church in Sullivan, with the Revs. Dale Wise and David Cox officiating. Burial is in Center Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. today, and 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday in First Christian Church. Banks and Brust Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
