Teresa A. (Williams) Christeson

Teresa A. (Williams) Christeson, 48, of West Terre Haute, died at 12:05 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008, in her residence. She was born on Oct. 22, 1959, in Charleston, Ill., to Robert M. Williams and Marjorie A. Comer (Isham) Williams. She was a heavy equipment operator for the last 21 years. She worked for several contractors in the area running backhoes and excavators.

Survivors include her parents; her husband, Pete Christeson; sons, Nicholas Williams and Dylan Price; daughter, Kisandra L. Williams, all of Terre Haute; brothers, Robert L. Williams and wife Kathy of Porter, Donald Williams and wife Karen of Hanover, Pa., and Rick Isham and wife Kristy of Terre Haute; sisters, Tinna Abrell of Terre Haute and Hope Isham of Porter; stepmother, Janice Williams; stepbrothers, Gary, Rodey and Rick Humphrey; brothers-in-law, Mike Christeson and wife Sandra of Santa Barbara, Calif., and John Christeson and wife Mary Ellen of Terre Haute; sisters-in-law, Claudia Christeson of Fort Worth, Texas and Roberta Williams and husband Ron of Terre Haute; nieces and nephews, Shannon and Artie Sauer and Brandi Abrell and also several other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Williams; and grandparents, Clarence and Josephine Williams and Alfa and Mary Comer.

She was a member of Operating Engineers Local 841 for 21 years. She loved her work and loved the people she worked with as they loved her, too. She would also love to find old bottles at work. She love to mushroom hunt and to go fishing. She always had a smile on her face and liked to make people laugh. She was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services are 4:30 p.m. Sunday in Mattox-Wood Funeral Home, 4660 N. Lafayette Avenue, with the Rev. Dennis Leek officiating. Calling hours are 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Cremation was chosen.
