Faye Hanks Campbell
PARIS, Ill. — Faye Hanks Campbell, 90, of Starkville, Miss., formerly of Paris, Ill., passed away Thursday morning, Oct. 9, 2008, in Cantrell’s Personal Care in Starkville. She was born on Aug. 12, 1918, in Wolf Point, Mont., the daughter of the late Linder and Grace (Sims) Hanks. She married Forrest Leo Campbell, on July 6, 1942, in Biloxi, Miss., and he preceded her in death on Nov. 18, 2007.
Survivors include two sons, Leslie (Rose Marie) Campbell and Charles (Carol) Campbell; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Dennis Hanks; and three sisters, Alice McCoy, Ruth Street, and Mary Spradley.
Graveside services are 1 p.m. CDT Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008, in Vermilion Cemetery, Vermilion, Ill. Burial will follow.
