— CLINTON — Vivian I. Jones, 90, of Clinton passed away at 6:20 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008 in Waters of Clinton. She was born Aug. 25, 1918 in Universal to Elmer Keller and Nellie Marie Boardman-Keller. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of First Christian Church in Clinton and a 50-year and Life Member of Phi Beta Psi National Sorority.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Linda L. Jones, on May 25, 1996; and one brother, Robert F. Keller.
She is survived by her husband, John E. Jones of Clinton, whom she married July 24, 1936; two daughters, Sue A. Jones of Clinton and Tina Henricks and her husband Ron of Crawfordsville; granddaughter, Julie Henricks-Mahurin and her husband Dale of Terre Haute; and two great-grandsons, Chase and Parker Mahurin of Terre Haute.
Services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at Karanovich-Giovanini Funeral Home in Clinton with Pastor Danny Caulkins officiating. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Monday with Phi Beta Psi memorial service conducted at 7 p.m. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Clinton. Memorial Contributions can be made to First Christian Church or Phi Beta Psi Sorority.
