Alexander “Alex” Michael Fulk

CENTER POINT — Alexander “Alex” Michael Fulk, 20, of Center Point, passed away on the morning of Wednesday, July 23, 2008, following a motorcycle accident. He was born Nov. 7, 1987, in Vigo County, to Michael and Pamela Chatham Fulk. Alex graduated from Clay City High School with the class of 2006. Following high school, he attended Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and Indiana State University prior to enrolling at University of Southern Indiana, just finishing his sophomore year. While at USI he was studying industrial supervision. He also became active in racing BMX bicycles at Burdette Park BMX Race Track and playing rugby for the USI team.

He enjoyed spending time with his girlfriend, Jennifer Dryer, going for walks, playing tennis and forever searching for the perfect places to eat. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, riding motorcycles and flying remote control planes. Alex had a strong Christian faith and enjoyed attending church. He will forever be remembered as a gentle spirit, kind and enthusiastic person with a warm smile.

Survivors include his parents, Michael and Pamela Fulk; girlfriend, Jennifer Dryer; grandparents, Lela Chatham and Don and Carolyn Fulk; aunt, Linda Ray; uncles, Clifford Chatham and David Fulk and wife Sheryl; cousins, April, Amber and Alicia Ray and Willie Chatham and Christy and Brett Fulk; as well as many friends and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Willard Chatham.

Services will be at Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1702 E. National Ave., in Brazil, 2 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 2008, with the Rev. Paul Zurcher officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home, Saturday, July 26, 2008 from 4 to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon until time of services. In Alex’s memory, a memorial fund has been established at Riddell National Bank, donations may be made at any bank location.
