Marjorie D. Lister

— Marjorie D. Lister, 79, of West Terre Haute passed away at 7:34 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2009, in Union Hospital at Terre Haute. She retired from the Vigo County School Corp. as the cafeteria manager at West Vigo High School and Middle School. She had also been employed with Quaker Maid at Terre Haute and also as a florist with Bedino Floral at West Terre Haute. She was born Feb. 1, 1930, in Vigo County, Ind. to Joseph Cardinal and Nina Shuey Cardinal. She married Charles Lister on June 26, 1950, and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Gayla and Wendell Finley of Paris, Ill.; a brother, Chuck Cardinal of West Terre Haute; a grandson, Andrew Finley of Paris; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Mary Guy, Helen Graham, Martha Michaels and Ethel Sutton; and two brothers, James and Frank Cardinal.
She was a member of the Second Christian Church in Terre Haute.
Funeral services are 1 p.m., Saturday in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Armour officiating. Visitation is 11 a.m. until service time Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Bethesda Memorial Park.
