BRAZIL — Bradley Earl Karn II, 25, of Brazil, passed away Friday, Feb. 24, 2006, in Putnam County. He was born Feb. 24, 1981, in Falmouth Mass., to Bradley Earl and Shelly Ann Deakins Karn.

Survivors include his parents of Brazil; a sister, Jennifer Karn of Brazil; a brother, Benjamin Karn and wife Penny of Brazil; grandparents, Larry Karn, Rosie Deakins, and Jim and Kim Deakins, all of Brazil; aunts, Kim Holley and husband Ted, and Sheila White, all of Brazil; uncles, Greg Karn and wife Janice, and Matthew Deakins, all of Brazil, and Jeff Karn of Bloomington; and a large extended family. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Marian and Helen Hoffman; his grandmother, Joyce Karn; and an uncle, Stephen White.

He attended Berea Christian Church, Bee Ridge Church, and most recently Otter Creek Christian Church. He graduated with Northview High School’s class of 1999, and had attended Indiana State University. During high school, he worked at the Brazil McDonald’s. After graduating he worked for Regal Construction and T.I.C. Construction. He enjoyed playing chess, video games, basketball and watching football. He was known to have a keen memory for sports statistics, current and past. His favorite football team was the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lawson-Miller Chapel, with the Rev. Steve Brattain officiating. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
