A week of celebration for Chamber’s birthday

TERRE HAUTE — The Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce is celebrating its official date of incorporation and 100 years of business in Terre Haute with a week of giveaways and a free membership lunch next week, according to a press release.

The lunch is scheduled for Wednesday at the downtown plaza, 630 Wabash Ave. Activities include a mayoral proclamation and local heroes recognition ceremony at 10:30 a.m. followed by lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The lunch is sponsored by Bison Financial Group with beverages provided by Coca-Cola. No reservations required, but chamber officials ask that you let them know how many hot dogs to order. Visit www.terre

Member giveaways are also part of the celebration. The Terre Haute chamber is giving away prizes and recognizing its members throughout the week on Facebook and Twitter.
