TERRE HAUTE —
An April trial date has been set for a Terre Haute woman accused of lying to police about a stabbing that is to have occurred at her boyfriend’s home.
Kaitlyn Thornberry, 19, has been charged with obstruction of justice, a class-D felony, and false reporting, a class-A misdemeanor, in connection with a Sept. 25 stabbing in the 1500 block of Ohio Street.
Terre Haute Police allege she erased text messages sent to the phone of a person involved in the stabbing and also contend she misled police about her actions before the stabbing.
An April 4 trial date was set in the case in Vigo Superior Court 6. She is to return to court on March 11 for a pre-trial conference.
