Three facing meth charges in Parke County

TERRE HAUTE — A routine traffic stop led Parke County deputies to the arrest of three Fountain County residents on allegations of making methamphetamine.

About noon Wednesday, deputies stopped a vehicle on U.S. 41 in Rockville for a traffic violation. During the stop, police reportedly discovered items used to make methamphetamine inside the vehicle.

According to a Parke County Sheriff’s Department news release, the driver, Stacey G. Lambert, 41, of Kingman, is facing allegations of manufacturing meth and possessing precursors. Passengers Jason E. Reed, 41, and Robert M. Scott, 41, both of Kingman, are facing the same allegations. Reed was also arrested on an outstanding Lawrence County warrant for dealing in a schedule IV controlled substance.

All three suspects were taken to the Parke County Jail where they are being held without bond.
