TERRE HAUTE — Family members of a Terre Haute woman found dead in her home Wednesday have been notified that the woman died last November.

The body of Mary Remley, 65, was discovered Wednesday inside her home on Lafayette Avenue. Vigo County Coroner Dr. Susan Amos said Remley’s son in California and a sister-in-law in the area have been notified that the woman died of natural causes.

Amos told the Tribune-Star that Remley had a history of heart issues. Remley kept to herself and had not been in contact with her son for several years, Amos said.
