TERRE HAUTE —
A Terre Haute man has received a six-year prison sentence through a plea agreement in Vigo Superior Court 6, but he was released Wednesday from the Vigo County Jail with credit for time served.
Christopher Tarrh, 21, pleaded guilty to two counts of child molesting, a class-B felony.
Tarrh was arrested in February 2009, accused of having sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old victim on two occasions in 2008.
The plea agreement called for him to receive credit for almost three years served on his sentence. The remaining two years will be served on formal probation, and he must register as a sex offender. Tarrh also cannot reside within 1,000 feet of a school or have contact with children younger than age 16.
