Sullivan death not foul play

TERRE HAUTE — Preliminary results from an autopsy performed Monday on the body of 24-year-old Brittany L. Moore revealed no signs of trauma, according to a news release issued by Indiana State Police.

The autopsy was conducted at Terre Haute Regional Hospital by Dr. Roland Kohr. Toxicology results are pending and could take two to four weeks.

Moore, of Shelburn, was found unresponsive shortly after 9 a.m. Saturday at a friend’s home in Sullivan. She was taken to Sullivan County Community Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

State Police and Sullivan Police Department continue to investigate the death, but do not suspect foul play.
