Vigil planned Sunday in Sullivan County

SULLIVAN — The Sullivan community is hosting a candlelight vigil on Sunday to honor the lives lost in the elementary school shooting last week in Newtown, Conn., and to remember those lives forever changed by the tragedy.

According to Mayor Clint Lamb, the gathering will take place at 7 p.m. on the lawn of the Sullivan courthouse square. Those attending are asked to bring their own candles.
