TERRE HAUTE — The Vigo County Redevelopment Commission on Tuesday approved Schroeders Lawn & Landscape for a one-year contract to mow, and spray when needed, the Vigo County Industrial Park I and II.

The county will pay $930 for each mow, which includes a spray. It is $755 without the spray, for the industrial park along U.S. 41, south of Terre Haute, and $395 for each mow at the former Pfizer property, known as Vigo County Industrial Park II.

The company provided lawn service in 2012 at the same price.

Maintaining the industrial parks’ roads and lots helps with marketing as well as safety, said Steve Witt, president of the Terre Haute Economic Development Corp.
