TERRE HAUTE —
A tip from the community led Indiana State Police troopers on Friday to arrest two Terre Haute residents — one on a warrant and the other on drug charges.
Travis Kraemer, 21, was arrested on a warrant for forgery.
Cory N. Dixon, 31, was arrested for dealing marijuana and possession of marijuana over 30 grams, and maintaining a common nuisance, all class-D felonies, and possession of paraphernalia, a class-A misdemeanor.
Police report that on Friday, a tip led authorities to a residence in the 2200 block of Liberty Avenue where police found Kramer. Troopers at the scene also noted a smell consistent with burned marijuana. After further investigation, troopers found about 113 grams of suspected marijuana, as well as numerous drug paraphernalia items associated with the use and distribution of marijuana.
Both men were lodged in the Vigo County Jail.
