Kathleen G. Cabello, president and co-founder of Cabello Associates Inc., has been appointed by Gov. Mike Pence to serve on the Indiana State University Board of Trustees.
Her term, effective immediately, will end on April 1, 2015. She replaces George Pillow, who now serves on the Indiana Horse Racing Commission.
Cabello previously held roles with The Dow Chemical Co. She has earned several awards, including the 2010 Indiana Fortune’s Most Powerful Women nominee, the 2010 Indianapolis Business Journal Women of Influence for Indiana, and the 2012 Mayor’s Latino Woman-Owned Business of the Year.
Cabello earned her bachelor of science degree from Eastern Michigan University, a master of business administration from the University of Notre Dame and her MBEP (Minority Business Executive Program) from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business.
