Little information on two bodies found in Brazil

Discovery made Christmas Eve

TERRE HAUTE — Brazil police are not yet releasing the names of two people found dead in their home on Christmas Eve.

Police Chief Clint McQueen told the Tribune-Star on Thursday that the names of the two people found inside the home will not be released until the investigation into their deaths is complete.

At noon Tuesday, officers were dispatched to a home on South Leavitt Street after a person called 911 to report finding the bodies.

“It will take several days to put the investigation together,” McQueen said, noting that the Indiana State Police crime scene unit assisted by processing the scene. The Clay County Coroner’s Office is also investigating.

Autopsies were conducted Thursday, McQueen said, but the causes of death will not be released until the investigation is complete.

McQueen did say that both people were residents of the home.
