TERRE HAUTE — Ramps onto Interstate 70 from U.S. 41 (exit 7) are scheduled to be closed for the next three days to accommodate resurfacing, the Indiana Department of Transportation said in a press release.

• The westbound ramp to I-70 is scheduled to be closed from 10 p.m. today until 6 a.m. Wednesday.

• The eastbound ramp to I-70 is scheduled to be closed from 10 p.m. Wednesday until 6 a.m. Thursday and again from 10 p.m. Thursday until 6 a.m. Friday.

The ramp closures are part of an I-70 project to patch and resurface the interstate from just east of the Wabash River Bridge to just west of U.S. 40/Indiana 46, INDOT said.

The project, awarded to Wabash Valley Asphalt for $7.2 million, is scheduled for completion by Oct. 18.
