Police search for suspect in armed robbery

TERRE HAUTE — Police are investigating a robbery that occurred at a Terre Haute home on Sunday, authorities said.

According to the Terre Haute Police Department, officers responded to the 2300 block of Sycamore Street around noon Sunday regarding a possible robbery.  The victim told police that items were removed from a coffee table by a family member holding a knife.  

But police said no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

The suspect fled the scene prior to arrival of police, authorities said.
