A former West Terre Haute police chief is wanted for questioning in an alleged deer shooting.
According to a news release issued by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, conservation officers were still searching Sunday for Mark Arnold, former chief of the West Terre Haute Police Department. According to the release, Arnold is “wanted for questioning in connection with an illegally killed deer.” The incident reportedly occurred Saturday.
Arnold was reportedly last seen around 4:20 p.m. Saturday in the area of Sanford Avenue and Indiana 63. Police ask that anyone with information as to Arnold’s whereabouts are asked to call the state conservation officers’ central dispatch center at 812-837-9536.
