A Terre Haute man faces criminal charges for an alleged sexual encounter with a teenage girl.
Tony Anton Myles, 22, appeared in Vigo Superior Court 5 on Tuesday where a Jan. 15 trial date was set in his case.
Myles has been charged with class-C felony sexual misconduct with a minor, and attempted child solicitation, a class-D felony.
The incident allegedly occurred between Aug. 31 and Sept. 3 with a victim between ages 14 and 16.
His bail was set at $50,000 with no 10 percent allowed.
City man facing numerous charges
A Terre Haute man faces multiple criminal charges after he allegedly ran over a person on Oct. 11.
Travis J. Napier, 21, appeared Tuesday afternoon in Vigo Superior Court 5 where he was charged with the class-D felony counts of causing serious bodily injury, driving while intoxicated resulting in serious bodily injury, and possession of a controlled substance; a class-A misdemeanor of driving while intoxicated; and a class-C misdemeanor charge of driving with a controlled substance.
The incident occurred on Oct. 11 when a pedestrian was seriously injured.
Senior Judge Barbara Brugnaux set a trial date of Jan. 14 for Napier, and also took a request for bail reduction under advisement.
