Fuqua charity auction to support Red Cross

Fuqua Elementary School is planning its annual charity auction for Tuesday, with proceeds going to support the American Red Cross Wabash Valley Chapter.

The event begins at 6 p.m. in the school’s gymnasium with food, drinks and browsing. The live auction begins at 6:45 p.m. Door prizes and a silent auction also are planned. John Newman is serving as auctioneer.

Among the items to be auctioned are DVDs, Dollywood tickets, overnight stays at hotels, skating passes, family passes for Children’s Museum, membership at Wabash Valley Sports Center, new flat-screen TV, coffee and tea basket, chocolate basket, Colts basket, Italian basket, sunflower items basket, bowling passes, car care items, camping chair, new jewelry, new bicycles, Avon basket, cornhole game, dresser, nightstand, purse and accessory basket, new ceiling fan and a Casino Aztar package ($300 value).

Donations have been received to date from Wendy’s, Regional Hospital, Staples, Starbucks, Ziebart, Wabash Valley Sports Center, Venus Hair Salon, E-Bash, PetCo, Clabber Girl, Magdy’s, Terre Haute North Vigo High School, White Castle, Atterson Tire, Walmart, Baesler’s, Stein Mart, Harmonious Hedgehog, Sarah Scott Middle School, Harley Davidson, NAPA, Holiday Inn, Crown Electric, Ivy Tech Community College, Joe’s Airboat Rides, Little Hands Preschool, Positively Paws, Family Chiropractic, Education World, Premier Jewelry, Moore Photography, Auto Zone, Applebee’s Sunrise, Red Lobster, Garfield’s, Friday’s, Anderson Chiropractic, 31 Gifts, B&B Foods, Golden Corral, Fazoli’s, Skate World, Papa John’s Pizza, GFS Market, Fore Seasons, Outback Steakhouse, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, ISU Athletics, Terre Haute South Vigo High School, Fuqua PTO, MCL Cafe, Miller Floral, Extreme Laser Tag, Bogey’s Family Fun Center and Fuqua staff and friends.
