A bail reduction has been denied for a Terre Haute man who allegedly led police on a chase while anhydrous ammonia leaked from a rolling meth lab in the truck he was driving.
Vigo Superior Court Division 6 Judge Michael Lewis has denied a request by Dennis Dillon, 40, to reduce his bail to $50,000 with 10 percent allowed. It remains at $75,000 with no 10 percent allowed.
Dillon faces multiple charges including dealing methamphetamine, possession of precursors, possession of methamphetamine and resisting law enforcement. He was arrested May 31 for his alleged involvement in a police pursuit that began near 25th Street and Miller Drive, and ended when the truck crashed in the 3400 block of Moyer Road.
Four Terre Haute Police Department officers were taken via ambulance to Regional Hospital for treatment of inhalation injuries received during the pursuit and apprehension of Dillon.
