Cookout for United Way is Thursday

— A new participant in the annual United Way of the Wabash Valley fundraising campaign will host a fundraiser for the agency today.
Fleschner, Stark, Tanoos and Newlin will have its inaugural Cookout to Benefit United Way of Wabash Valley from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at its law firm office just south of the Vigo County Courthouse.
The public is invited. Lunch will be $5 per plate with desserts available. Funds raised at the cookout will go to support the firm’s pilot campaign with the United Way of the Wabash Valley. “This is the first year that Fleschner, Stark, Tanoos and Newlin has participated as a pilot company and we are very excited to welcome them to the team,” said Troy Fears, executive director of the United Way. “Their enthusiasm to support the community through the United Way of the Wabash Valley is to be commended.”
