An ophthalmologist who practices in Terre Haute has appealed a judgment against him rendered after a jury trial in October.
Tracey Wallace sued Jonathan S. McGlothan for malpractice and a jury awarded her $555,813, and her husband, Eric Wallace, $122,980.
Attorneys for McGlothan filed their appeal Dec. 24 with the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago.
Wallace complained she suffered permanent eye injury after McGlothan negligently performed a LASIK procedure, according to her attorney, Robert F. Hunt.
