‘Healthy Halloween Hoedown’ Oct. 26 at Children's Museum

Children and the young-at-heart are invited to dust off their favorite costumes and mosey on down to the Terre Haute Children’s Museum from 6 to 9 p.m. on Oct. 26 for the “Healthy Halloween Hoedown.”

During this Halloween roundup, sponsored by Terre Haute Regional Hospital, kids and adults can enjoy music, healthy snacks, dancing, crafts, games, experiments and live animals. Children will even get to hop on the saddle of a blender bike to mix up smoothies.

This event isn’t just for cowboys and cowgirls. Superheroes, princesses, pirates, witches, goblins, wizards and more are all welcome at this un-scary event. There will be a variety of activities available for all ages.

Tickets for the “Healthy Halloween Hoedown” are $5 for members of the Terre Haute Children’s Museum and $10 for children ages 2 and older and adults. Children under age 2 will be admitted for free.

The museum is at 727 Wabash Ave. and Eighth Street. For more information, visit www.thchildrensmuseum.com, email info@terrehautechildrensmuseum.com or call 812-235-5548; or find them on Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest.
