Fairy tales just might come true at Children’s Museum event on April 20

TERRE HAUTE — The Terre Haute Children’s Museum is hosting its second annual Fairy Tale Ball from 6 to 9 p.m. on April 20.

Princes, princesses, pirates and fairies of all ages — along with their adult chaperones — are invited to the museum to enjoy an evening of magical experiments, enchanted crafts, mystical activities and royal snacks.

The evening is being sponsored by DIY Hardware and Rentals and Wise Guise Costume Sales and Rental.

Children are encouraged to dress in fairy tale costumes. There will be face painting, treasure hunt, dancing, pirate adventures, crafts and snacks.

The Fairy Tale Ball is $5 for members of the museum and $10 for nonmembers. Tickets are required for all attendees ages 2 and older. Tickets are limited and can be purchased at the admission desk of the Terre Haute Children’s Museum at the corner of Eighth Street and Wabash Avenue.
