Watercolors and tea at The Gallery

Watercolors by Christine Ardelean of Avon, associate member of Covered Bridge Art Association and recipient of last year’s Best of Show award, will be on display through August in The Gallery at 124 W. Ohio St., on the north side of square in Rockville.

The association’s next event will be a fall tea from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 7 on the newly renovated second floor of The Gallery. A chair lift is available for patrons with difficulty climbing stairs.

In addition to a variety of teas and light lunch, each guest will have the choice of a hand-painted tea cup. Featured guest Karen Stutler, owner of Turkey Hill Farm Antiques, will speak on “The Annapolis Pottery,” which was the oldest in the area.

Tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance. Cost is $20.

Call The Gallery at 765-569-9422 for reservations and more details.

The Gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Tuesday, and from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
