Bridges of Indiana, CARS offer free event Aug. 14 at Terre Haute Children’s Museum

TERRE HAUTE — Bridges of Indiana and Child Adult Resource Services have teamed up with the Terre Haute Children’s Museum to sponsor a unique opportunity for individuals with disabilities.

The program, titled “Exceptional Explorations,” allows individuals with disabilities and their families to experience the museum at no cost. This is a very exclusive chance for these organizations to provide an extraordinary time to visit the Children’s Museum in a private setting.

The first of six events that have been scheduled now throughout 2014 will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. Aug. 14. During this event, attendees will celebrate going back to school.

In order to track the number of attendees, they will either need to register at the kiosk located in the lobby of the Children’s Museum or online at www.bridgesofindiana.com. Registration is necessary to ensure that those who participate have a positive and worthwhile experience. Interested parties can complete this form and plan to make this special visit on the day that they have expressed an interest.
