Nancy Nichols-Pethick set up her easel there, atop uneven stones, mossy dirt and marshy weeds.

Grow brought six raptors to Fowler Park for the first in a series of programs offered by the Vigo County Parks Department. The next event, Nature's Design,  will begin at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22.
