Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama visited Vigo County on Sept. 6 and spoke to a packed house of about 900 or 1,000 people in the 4-H Arena at the Wabash Valley Fairgrounds. Obama managed to get in a few chuckles, and some jabs at his opponent, as he explained his plan for improving the nation’s economy.
Tribune-Star photographers Jim Avelis and Joseph C. Garza were on had from just after sun up to after the candidate departed to bring you these images.
