---- — Ed Pearce of Pearce Funeral Home of Marshall, Ill., was recently installed to the Board of Directors of the International Order of the Golden Rule at the annual conference in Atlanta. Election of board members is conducted every two years.

IOGR, with the home office at Austin, Texas, is a professional organization limited to only independent and family owned funeral homes, and membership is by invitation only. The membership consists of funeral homes from all 50 states, Canada, Great Britain, South America, Mexico and France.

AAA Hoosier Motor Club selected Williams Randall Marketing to refine and develop a comprehensive marketing plan for all of its business units, including club membership, travel, insurance, automotive assistance and financial services. Williams Randall will work with AAA Hoosier Motor Club to develop media and creative strategy to not only retain current members but also find ways to build new membership including attracting a younger demographic. In addition to creative and media services, Williams Randall will help implement an analytics program to measure and track results to ensure a strong return on the marketing investment.

To get an insider’s perspective of the roadside assistance portion of the business, three of Williams Randall’s creative and account services staff spent a day traveling around Indianapolis with AAA tow trucks solving problems that members were having with their automobiles. “Now that we understand what a difference AAA makes for its members, we have a better handle on the overall customer experience and the value that AAA offers” said Justin Wojtowicz, the Williams Randall account supervisor for AAA.

Polly Jeffers has received the distinction of becoming certified in care management with the National Academy of Certified Care Managers. Jeffers is the founder and owner of Wabash Valley Care Management and Consulting LLC and has been providing care management services since March.

Jeffers is a graduate of St. Mary-of-the-Woods College and a licensed social worker in Indiana. As a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers, she assists clients nationally and locally in Vigo, Sullivan, Clay and Vermillion counties in finding the most appropriate care for aging loved ones.
