METRO ROUNDUP: Tickets still available for Thursday’s Indians’ game

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Indians announced Monday that Wednesday’s 6:05 p.m. game against the Louisville Bats has already been sold out, but that a special Thursday Value Night offer is available the following night.

Special packages will be sold Thursday that include a game ticket, an exclusive T-shirt, a hot dog and unlimited soda starting at $16. Those tickets can be purchased at www.IndyIndians.com or at the Victory Field box office at 501 W. Maryland St. prior to the game.

A limited number of standing-room-only tickets will be made available for the Independence Day festivities Wednesday, when gates open at 4:30 p.m. Among the activities Wednesday are special Stars & Stripes jerseys that will be auctioned to benefit the Indiana National Guard relief fund, an on-field fireworks display and the downtown fireworks display that will be visible from the ballpark.
