Youth baseball tournaments ready to start

TERRE HAUTE — A full slate of youth baseball tournaments will be getting underway this weekend around the Wabash Valley.

Cal Ripken has their District 6 tournaments running from Saturday through Monday at Riley Recreation League (11s) and at Forest Park (12s) in Brazil. Both sites are hosting 10-and-under tournaments.

Little League District 4 tourmaments begin on Monday. The 11-12 year olds event is Monday-10, the 9-10s from July 11-15 with the 10-11s playing from July 16-18.

Babe Ruth District 6 tournament play will be from July 11-13. Sites include Riley Rec League (13s) and Valle Field (14s and 15s).
