TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Wednesday and Thursday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.


Shane C. Bauer, 23, 10 block of Edgewood Court, Terre Haute. Booked 10:24 a.m. Court order.

Ashley L. Potter, 31, 2800 block of North 12st Street, Terre Haute. Booked 1:24 p.m. Battery.

Stephiane Foster, 37, 8500 block of East Davis Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 2:51 p.m. Court order.

Rodney D. Woods, 54, 1100 block of South Eighth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 7:08 p.m. Public intoxication.

Katherine D. Sharkey, 35, 1400 block of South 18th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 7:35 p.m. Failure to appear.

Brandon G. Meeks, 35, 100 block of South 18th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 8:23 p.m. Possession of a controlled substance.

Seth A. Shafer, 23, 400 block of South 15th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 10:21 p.m. Intimidation, public intoxication, resisting law enforcement, disorderly conduct and interference crime.

Larry W. Pine, 22, 1500 block of Oak Street, Terre Haute. Booked 10:25 p.m. Public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Samantha D. Archer, 22, 5300 block of North 13th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 11:17 p.m. Disorderly conduct and public intoxication.


William J. Kennedy, 38, 10200 block of South Trueblood Place, Terre Haute. Booked 12:32 a.m. Battery-domestic.

Brian L. Brown, 19, 300 block of West Johnson Drive, West Terre Haute. Booked 12:53 a.m. Possession of marijuana/hash and minor consuming.

Johnathon Berkley, 20, 10 block of North Sixth Street, West Terre Haute. Booked 1:01 a.m. Minor consuming.

Rachel A. Higginbotham, 35, 1400 block of South 10th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 1:10 a.m. Habitual traffic violator and operating while intoxicated.

Patrick D. Bennett, 26, 2400 block of Second Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 1:31 a.m. Possession of paraphernalia and failure to appear (three counts).

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
