Blood donors on July 12, 13 receive Heart concert ticket

News Release

---- — The Indiana Blood Center is calling on Hoosiers to help boost blood supply to meet the needs of hospitals all around the state. With students out of school and blood donations falling off as a result, community volunteers are needed now more than ever.

Indiana Blood Center needs donors of all blood types, especially those with O-positive and O-negative blood.

The American Red Cross recently issued a critical plea for blood donors. While Indiana Blood Center, the state’s largest independent blood-provider, is not in a critical situation, it is calling on individuals to visit the nearest Indiana Blood Center donor center or mobile drive within the next 36-48 hours.

Donors at any donor center on Friday, July 12 and Saturday, July 13, will receive one ticket to the July 30 Heart/Jason Bonham concert at Klipsch Music Center in Noblesville.

Interested donors can find the nearest donor center or list of mobile drives by visiting www.donorpoint.org or by calling 800-632-4722.
