The identity of the pilot killed in a Tuesday plane crash in Edgar County, Ill., has been released by the National Transportation Safety Board.
Rusty Shane Bogue, 33, of Paris, died on impact when his small, fixed-wing plane crashed soon after taking off at about noon from the Edgar County Airport. The plane was en route to Terre Haute.
Edgar County Coroner Pete Templeton said at a news conference today that an autopsy was conducted this morning at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.
