Vigo County Jail Log: Sept. 26, 2013

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Wednesday and Thursday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.


Troy D. Wrightsman, 39, 1800 block of Harding Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 7:30 a.m. Failure to appear.

Joseph N. Stedman, 22, 1000 block of North Mount Street, Indianapolis. Booked 8:43 a.m. Leaving the scene of a property damage accident and court order.

David J. Nalley, 40, 200 block of Redbarn Road, Booneville. Booked 10:41 a.m. Court order.

Michael A. Bones, 38, 2200 block of Washington, Terre Haute. Booked 1:43 p.m. Failure to appear.

Megan B. Nelson, 29, 1100 block of South Wild Rose Place, West Terre Haute. Booked 3:12 p.m. Bond revocation (three counts) and probation violation.

William M. Craffets, 29, 2200 block of Buckeye Street, Terre Haute. Booked 4:06 p.m. Driving while suspended and failure to appear.

Michelle L. Whitner, 43, 2600 block of East Thomas Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 5:17 p.m. Failure to appear.

Mercades M. McNair, 18, 400 block of Mulberry Street, Terre Haute. Booked 5:34 p.m. Criminal conversion.

Ian P. Foxworthy, 23, 2200 block of East Haythorne Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 6:04 p.m. Failure to appear.

Brandon D. Brown, 26, 700 block of South Sixth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 7:11 p.m. Resisting law enforcement.

Edward Richardson, 47, 5300 block of North State Road, Terre Haute. Booked 7:43 p.m. Receiving stolen property.


Jeffrey D. Williams, 20, 400 block of North Third Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 1:27 a.m. Failure to appear.

Dwight E. Long, 18. Booked 1:43 a.m. Possession of controlled substance and possession of marijuana/hash.

David J. Featherston, 18, 1000 block of North Seventh Street, Terre Haute. Booked 1:43 a.m. Driver never licensed, possession of marijuana/hash and possession of controlled substance.

August O. Weil, 40, 16900 block of Eagle Street, Lewis. Booked 4:28 a.m. Public intoxication.

Emanuel D. Bained, 38, 2200 block of Cleveland Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 4:33 a.m. Driver never licensed.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
