TERRE HAUTE —
Repairs and resurfacing at a southern Vigo County railroad crossing will cause Indiana 246 to close for about a week, beginning Thursday, according to the Indiana Department of Transportation.
The state highway will close just east of U.S. 41, so that CSX Railroad crews can perform the work. Indiana 246 is scheduled to reopen on Oct. 3.
A detour involves U.S. 41, Indiana 48, Indiana 159 and open sections of Indiana 246.
