TERRE HAUTE —
Two Sullivan County emergency medical technicians were taken to Terre Haute Regional Hospital this afternoon after their ambulance went into the median east of the Indiana 46 exit along Interstate 70.
According to Indiana State Police Sgt. Joe Watts, Jessica Boyle, 25, of Sullivan said a wind gust caused the ambulance to go off the interstate and the driver lost control. The passenger was Kindra West, 27, of Jasonville.
Watts said injuries did not appear to be life-threatening. Police responded to the accident at 2:48 p.m.
