Book signing March 7 in Crossroads Café to benefit Success By 6

The book “One Day I Could Be ... Careers in the Wabash Valley,” is on sale now and will be available at a book signing today, March 7, during a First Friday event in downtown Terre Haute.

Crossroads Café at Seventh Street and Wabash Avenue will be selling books, and a few of the career participants featured in the book will be available for autographs from 5 to 7 p.m.

Every child wonders “what will I do when I grow up?” This book helps children explore interesting jobs in the Wabash Valley and dream about their own careers. The book includes work by local author Ann Ryan, designer Denise Turner and photographer Brendan Kearns.

Cost of the book is $15. Proceeds from the volunteer project will help support United Way of the Wabash Valley’s Success By 6, an early childhood literacy program.

To order a copy of the book contact the United Way office at 812-235-6287 or visit UWWV.org.
