Vigo County Jail Log: May 17, 2013

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Thursday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Thursday

Elijah R. Hupp, 20, 2300 Second Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 9:58 a.m. Child molesting.

Minor, 16, Terre Haute. Booked 1 p.m. Burglary, theft and criminal mischief.

Ashley L. Butler, 30, 2300 block of North 14 1/2 Street, Terre Haute. Booked 2:48 p.m. Criminal conversion.

Jody A. Cliver, 36, 500 block of South Seventh Street, Terre Haute. Booked 3 p.m. Criminal conversion and criminal trespassing.

Don C. Kyle Jr., 22, 1500 block of Fifth Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 3:51 p.m. Failure to appear.

Rebecca I. Ditto, 21, 1600 block of Sixth Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 4:13 p.m. Failure to appear.

Paul K. McLeary, 23, 1400 block of South 11th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 5:24 p.m. Probation violation.

William L. Baldwin, 31, 600 block of Cherry Street, Terre Haute. Booked 6:37 p.m. Criminal conversion.

Drew R. Sluder, 33, 600 block of North Seventh Street, Terre Haute. Booked 7:37 p.m. Escape, resisting law enforcement, public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Ernest Wyrick, 50, 1400 block of Beech Street, Terre Haute. Booked 9:01 p.m. Failure to appear.

William H. Dehart, 21, 9200 block of East U.S. 40, Terre Haute. Booked 11:04 p.m. Failure to appear.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
