TERRE HAUTE — Three people escaped serious injury in an accident Tuesday night at the intersection of Clinton Road and Rosehill Avenue.

Chief Deputy Clark Cottom of the Vigo County Sheriff’s Department said a southbound Kia Sorento stopped on Clinton Road to turn left when it was rear ended by a Buick LeSabre.

The Kia, driven by Belinda Dobrowlski, spun around in the intersection, and came to rest pointing north. Neither Dobrowlski nor her passenger was injured.

The Buick, driven by Jonathon McIntyre, received significant front-end damage. He continued about 300 feet south from the impact scene to come to rest along the side of the road.

McIntyre was transported to Union Hospital in Terre Haute for complaints of shoulder and chest pain.

Police report that alcohol was not believed to be a factor in the crash.
