Vigo County Jail Log: Sept. 20, 2013

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Thursday and Friday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Thursday

Michael J. Byrer, 26, 1400 block of Chase Street, Terre Haute. Booked 10:25 a.m. Escape (two counts).

Donovan A. Dean, 24, 600 block of North 40th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 12:37 p.m. Court order.

Jaime De Oca Escudero, 49, 19400 block of Half Way Avenue, Haywood, Calif. Booked 2:27 p.m. Court order.

Steven M. Willan, 29, 1000 block of North Ninth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 2:45 p.m. Battery.

Chris A. Lowery, 47, 1900 block of North 30th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 3:15 p.m. Court order.

Michael J. Harris, 33, 1400 block of South 18th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 8:52 p.m. Receiving stolen property.

Friday

Everett K. Favre Jr., 38, 2400 block of Layher Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 12:04 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Franklin T. Lauck, 19, 1400 block of South Eighth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 3:28 a.m. Minor consuming.

Dakota E. Zimmerman, 19, 10 block of Stewart Court, Sullivan. Booked 3:35 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Shawnacy C. Turpin, 25, 2500 block of North 14th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 4:29 a.m. Possession of pseudoephedrine, driving while suspended and possession of look-alike substance.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
