Vigo County felony arrests

TERRE HAUTE — July 12

-- Elizabeth M. Williams, 24, of Farmersburg was booked into the Vigo County jail on a warrant for check fraud. She was released on her own recognizance.

July 13

-- Rodney L. Biglin, 18, of Terre Haute was arrested by city police at 3:44 p.m. at Eighth and Crawford streets. He was charged with burglary. He was released from jail on his own recognizance.

-- Anthony F. Bowman, 21, of Terre Haute was arrested by city police at 2:46 p.m. in the 700 block of South Eighth Street. He was charged with burglary. He was held in the Vigo County jail Monday with bail at $35,000.

-- Virginia R. Cheesman, 28, of Terre Haute was arrested by city police at 1:40 p.m. at Honey Creek Mall on a preliminary charge of theft. She was released from jail on her own recognizance on the condition she stay away from the mall.

-- Kevin W. Hartleroad, 44, of Terre Haute was arrested by city police at 9:15 p.m. at 13th and Spruce streets. He was charged with operating a vehicle after a lifetime driver’s license forfeiture. He was released from jail on his own recognizance.

-- Jack L. Tighe, 37, of Terre Haute was arrested by a Vigo County sheriff’s deputy at 11:08 p.m. in the 5300 block of Estate Road. He was charged with intimidation and a misdemeanor count of public intoxication. He was released from jail.

July 14

-- Gary C. Anderson, 33, of Terre Haute was booked into the Vigo County jail at 10:42 a.m. after he was arrested on a warrant for non-support of a dependent child. He posted $1,000 bail and was released.

-- Keith A. Sears, 21, of Terre Haute was booked into the Vigo County jail at 1:05 a.m. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor count of possession of marijuana. He was held Monday with bail at $25,000.
