TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Wednesday and Thursday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Wednesday

Cary Coffin, 41, 1100 block of South Fifth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 11:41 a.m. Failure to appear.

Damien D. Tyler, 33, 2000 block of North 23rd Street, Terre Haute. Booked 12:50 p.m. Failure to appear.

David A. Edwards, 37, 1100 block of South 24th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 2:12 p.m. Probation violation.

Jay R. Church, 33, 2000 block of Wabash Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 2:29 p.m. Probation violation.

Melissa A. Knorr, 40, 2200 block of North 13 1/2 Street, Terre Haute. Booked 2:54 p.m. Court order.

Jason W. Kutch, 27, 9800 block of South Belmar Place, Terre Haute. Booked 3:31 p.m. Failure to appear (two counts).

Timothy F. Watkins, 42, 3400 block of South Center Street, Terre Haute. Booked 4:23 p.m. Probation violation and public intoxication.

Jacob L. Pennell, 20, 600 block of South Seventh Street, West Terre Haute. Booked 4:51 p.m. Failure to appear and possession of marijuana/hash.

Johnnie B. West, 49, 1700 block of Thompson Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 6:29 p.m. Failure to appear (two counts).

Thursday

Christopher L. Smock, 35, 100 West Johnson Avenue, West Terre Haute. Booked 1:29 a.m. Operating while intoxicated and driving while suspended.

Robert E. Lenges, 22, 1300 block of North Fourth Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 2:33 a.m. Failure to appear.

Michael A. Morson, 22, 800 block of Prospect Boulevard, Terre Haute. Booked 2:38 a.m. Court order, failure to appear and resisting law enforcement.

Jamal M. Bell, 23, 6700 block of Wabash Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 4:31 a.m. Operating while intoxicated and resisting law enforcement.

Jerrick G. Kostelnik, 44, 1100 block of Leslie Avenue, Indianapolis. Booked 5 a.m. Operating while intoxicated, leaving the scene-property damage and possession of marijuana/hash.

Brian Barnett, 22, 9500 block of East Old Fort Harrison Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 5:43 a.m. Public intoxication, criminal mischief and resisting law enforcement.

Anthony M. Campbell, 46, 100 block of South First Street, Terre Haute. Booked 9:03 a.m. Bond revocation.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
