Vigo County Jail Log: May 9, 2013

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Wednesday and Thursday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.


Judie D. Pruitt, 64, 3100 block of North 14 1/2 Street, Terre Haute. Booked 9:49 a.m. Criminal trespassing.

Jesse J. Jackson, 38, 100 block of East Voorhees Street, Terre Haute. Booked 10:53 a.m. Court order and failure to appear.

Austin W. Buchanan, 19, 1100 block of Roget Place, West Terre Haute. Booked 11:39 a.m. Court order.

David Woolley, 46, 700 block of Knight Street, Brazil. Booked 2:07 p.m. Failure to appear (two counts).

Robert J. Grant, 24, 10 block of Greenbriar Court, Whiteland. Booked 4:31 p.m. Probation violation.

Timothy W. Taylor, 27, 1400 block of East Indiana 46, Center Point. Booked 7:48 p.m. Failure to appear.

Mark A. Hutson, 50, 3300 block of North Park Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 8:08 p.m. Failure to appear.

Brian L. Hatfield Jr., 22, 6700 block of Sundown Drive S, Indianapolis. Booked 11:33 p.m. Failure to appear.

Deairra M. Blakely, 21, 1300 block of South 13 1/2 Street, Terre Haute. Booked 11:33 p.m. Disorderly conduct, criminal trespassing and failure to appear (two counts).


Jonathan P. Rich, 20, 1900 block of Dahlen Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 2:14 a.m. Operating while intoxicated and possession of marijuana/hash.

Geoffrey W. Cheek, 26, 2000 block of South Sixth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 6:33 a.m. Court order.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
