Vigo County Jail Log: May 1, 2013

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Tuesday and Wednesday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Tuesday

Jerry L. Wasnidge, 39, no address, Freedom. Booked 9:18 a.m. Probation violation, court order and failure to appear.

Floyd Hamilton, 56, 500 block of Sixth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 12:19 p.m. Failure to appear.

Nicky D. Ribble Jr., 34, Wabash Light House Mission, Terre Haute. Booked 4:44 p.m. Failure to appear.

Richard L. Miekow, 30, 200 block of Emil Street, Farmersburg. Booked 5:51 p.m. Failure to appear.

Brooklynn M. Ringeo, 19, 1100 block of North Fourth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 6:34 p.m. Criminal trespassing.

Cheyanne N. Griffy, 20, 6400 block of North Rosewood Street, Terre Haute. Booked 6:53 p.m. Criminal conversion.

Tionne L. Childs, 19, 2500 block of South 25th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 8:27 p.m. Probation violation.

Amber D. Torres, 20, 2400 block of First Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 8:48 p.m. Criminal trespassing.

Edward J. Loyed, 42, 9100 block of East Moyer Drive, Terre Haute. Booked 9:25 p.m. Operating while intoxicated and criminal recklessness.

Cory M. Rutan, 30, 10 block of South 17th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 11:38 p.m. Failure to appear.

Shaughn M. Haring, 41, 700 block of South 18th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 11:46 p.m. Failure to appear.

Wednesday

Toby J. Hostetler, 37, 2200 block of Boston Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 1:44 a.m. Failure to appear (two counts).

Clayton E. Shell, 41, 500 block of North Main Street, Clinton. Booked 2:56 a.m. Resisting law enforcement and disorderly conduct.

Ricky J. Scott, 31, 2900 block of South 10th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 5:53 a.m. Possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana/hash.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
